Cluster Financial Control, Maldives to join a hotel group that is in the process of transforming to an international platform, reporting to the General Manager and the Group Director of Finance. You\'ll supervise all members of the Accounting Department, provide functional guidance to Executive Committee and Department Heads, and interact with management teams of all resorts within the group to effectively control the assets of the business and to provide business support to the group. Key responsibilities of the role include: Financial reporting and controls Ensure true and fair view of the financial statements and accuracy of data collection, processing and financial reporting on a timely manner Budgeting, forecasting and Management Information Ensure business support to the General Manager and the team provided using quality and relevant financial review and modeling tools Working Capital Management Ensure optimal level of working capital and minimize interest costs Investment appraisal Assist General Manager and the team to identify / prioritize capital expenditure requirements, assist them to understand the cost benefits to the resort and plan cash flows / funding requirements accordingly Information Technology Ensure that Finance and other user departments make the best use of available IT systems, assist formulating IT strategy and investments and overlook the IT Department and ensure smooth operation • Ensure proper financial systems being implemented and utilized at optimal levels with the assistance Qualities & Qualifications:- Ideally, you\'ll have some or all of the following; : • Chartered Accountant or equivalent • 2-5 Years in Hotel Accounting, preferably in an international hotel chain • Excellent knowledge of hotel accounting software(s) e.g. Sun, Microsoft Dynamic AX or Oracle ERP solutions would be added advantage • knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) e.g. Opera, Fidelio • knowledge of hotel point of sales system(s) e.g. Micros • Ability to take pressure, work under minimum supervision and result orient approach is a must The position carries a competitive salary depending on experience and usual expat benefits including such as single status accommodation, one month annual leave with return ticket, R&R air tickets within region, free medical as per company policy and many other benefits.
