Veteran Saudi-born hotelier Asim Garout is one the very first Saudi Nationals to explore his career in the Hospitality and International luxury hotels in the KSA. The 1972 born multi-lingual hotelier speaks Arabic, English, Indonesian and Singaporean, as well as his native Malaysian. Along with his mastering of the Negotiation Skills and Strategic selling skills; he obtained his Group training and Craft training Certificates during his progressive hotel profession.

Asim's first Hotel appointment was in 1993 at Ajyad Makkah Hotel (one of Makkah leading Hotels at the time) through which he developed his career path, from the F&B department to the rooms division and on to the Sales and Marketing department.  

He joined the Intercontinental Hotels in 2000, initially as assistant Sales Manager at the Intercontinental Makkah, and subsequently promoted to Sales Manager followed by the assistant Director of Sales post at DAR AL TAWHID InterContinental Hotel, and most recent before joining the CHA Family in 2009 and since 2006 as The Director of Sales and Marketing of DAR AL TAWHID InterContinental Hotel.
