A
native of Saarlouis - Germany, Chef Heiner Gellenberg
followed his youthful passion for cuisine in this
Lorraine town close to the French border and enrolled in
the Hotelfachschule Saarbruecken, completing his
traditional European chef apprenticeship before the age
of 20.
Chef
Gellenberg then embarked on an international culinary
journey to extend his knowledge and eventually opened
new food concepts and held positions as Executive Chef
in such renowned culinary metropolises as New York - USA
, Cologne - Germany, Acapulco, Guadalajara and Riviera
Maya - Mexico, Buenos Aires - Argentina and Saipan -
Asia, just to name a few of his professional
assignments.At the Caesar Park Hotel in Panama he was in
charge of all culinary activities during the
presidential Ibero-american summit, Japanese imperial
visit and royal visit of Prince Albert of Monaco. There
he also was the team recipient of the AAHS 5 star
diamante award of excellence.
Throughout his career Heiner recognized, developed and
promoted numerous talents in the Hospitality industry
and has a sound understanding of the tremendous dynamics
of HR.
Being fascinated with
the economic progress and quality of life in Mexico,
Heiner returned to his 'home country of choice' to
assist the fast growing Hotel industry with its
recruitment needs in Cancun, 'Riviera Maya' and the
new coastal development 'Costa Maya'.
With a total of 12
years in Latin America - 6 years of them in Mexico -
he knows the culture and regional business
environment well and the importance of placing the
right profile and expertise into the right working
