Michele
is an international marketing communications specialist
having worked with the world's leading hotel brands in
four continents. Instrumental in the opening marketing
campaign of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai as the
pioneering Marketing Communications Manager of this 600
room deluxe resort. Involved in the development of the
pre-opening marketing communications plan for the Burj
Al Arab and organized the opening campaign for the Wild
Wadi Waterpark.
Owned
and managed Mileage Middle East W.L.L., a publishing and
marketing company in Bahrain. Mrs. Mitschiener was the
Managing Editor of the first lifestyle magazine for Seef
Mall, Bahrain's leading retail and entertainment
complex. Prior to launching the magazine, she was the
Director of Marketing for Le Royal Meridien, a 245 room
luxury resort in Bahrain, which has now been rebranded
as a Ritz Carlton.
Mrs.
Mitschiener was also responsible for the pre-opening and
opening marketing of the 450 room Hyatt Regency Guam, as
its Marketing Communications Manager. Appointed as a key
member of the pre-opening team by Hyatt International to
implement the corporate graphic standards to all hotel
applications. Started her Hyatt career with the Hyatt
Regency Manila as its Public Relations Manager.
Advertising experience was gained with the iconic names
of the ad world from J. Walter Thompson to Leo Burnett.
Completed an international advertising traineeship in
Germany with the legendary porcelain company
Hutschenreuther AG, which was founded in 1814, and is
now a Rosenthal trademark. Mitschiener is a graduate of
the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor's degree
in Communication Arts and completed a Multimedia
Marketing course in New York University.
